Every day throughout Lent (not including Sundays), wake up to a new generosity challenge and short Bible-based blog straight to your inbox. Each act is designed to sharpen your awareness and give you practical ways to stretch your faith as well as your generosity, with three challenge levels

GREEN: take five minutes or less, and will usually be free (or really cheap!)
YELLOW: won’t take more than fifteen minutes, or a couple of £.
RED: for those who love to push themselves

Lent study series 2018
What? We are planning to run a 5 week Lent study series based on the film, I, Daniel Blake, which won the "Outstanding British film of the year" award at the 2017 BAFTAs
Each week, we will watch part of the film and then follow it with a Bible reflection and discussion based on the themes emerging from the film.
When? Starting on Friday 23rd February, the series will run each Friday for 5 weeks until 23rd March. Start time 7pm, finishing at 8.30pm. Snacks and drinks will be available.
Where? We will meet in the church.

We know that some folk might be keen to take part but aren't able to manage every Friday. Please don't let this put you off. The structure of the evenings, the Bible study and discussion material, mean that it isn't a problem to take part if you have missed one or more session.

For more information about the series please speak to Catriona Anderson or Audrey McLaren

BB Coffee Morning will be on Saturday 17th February 2018 in the Church Hall from 9.30am-11.30am. Donations of any bakery or raffle prizes will be gratefully accepted.

Prayer Focus
We live in times of constant technological advances and pray for the use and power of communication by safe channels. Pray for opportunities for face to face communication, that it would be genuine and not misunderstood. We pray that people will hear and accept the message they are being given.
Remember especially the message of God’s love for us through the giving of his son Jesus as we approach the season of Lent.
